Sadly our meetings have been suspended until the Coronavirus situation improves. In the meantime we will stay in touch with our members by whatever means is suitable to keep their spirits up in these difficult times.

Who Are We?

Thames Valley PHAB is one of over 170 local clubs across England and Wales that are affiliated to the national organisation whose mission is to inspire people of all abilities to make more of life together.

What we do?

Thames Valley PHAB is for adults in High Wycombe, Marlow and surrounding areas. We exist to promote and encourage people of all abilities to come together on equal terms to achieve complete inclusion within the wider community. We serve people with disabilities, their families, friends and carers and provide social evenings, events, outings and weekends away.

Our activities are in two parts; club nights and outings.

Club nights

These take place on Wednesday evenings at Court Garden Leisure Complex in Marlow. We provide a variety of activities including quizzes, craft evenings, games evenings and raffles. Once or twice a year we have a guest speaker from the local community.

As well as these activities, there is time to socialise with other members, sharing news, experiences and problems.

Subscriptions are very low, just £1.50 per evening, and we have a minibus for those that have no other means of transport; return fares are only £1.50 door to door.

There are around six of these a year. For example, in 2016 we visited Black Country Living Museum, Bletchley Park, Cotswold Wildlife Park and Birdworld. We also had a number of picnics and our annual BBQ.
