​The Thames Valley PHAB Club minibus is a purpose-built vehicle seating up to 14 passengers. Five of these seats fold up to accommodate four wheelchairs. Each wheelchair user has a full lap and diagonal seatbelt, which is independent of the restraints used to secure the chair to the floor. Access for wheelchairs is via a ramp at the rear doors which, when opened, lower the rear of the bus on its air suspension. The minibus has a 2.8L turbo-diesel engine with 5-speed gearbox and power steering. Air conditioning and all round vision with comfortable seating make journeys an enjoyable experience for both passengers and driver.
